BePTT: A Feature-packed Social Networking App for iPhone Users
BePTT is a free social networking app developed by Yan Kai Huang for iPhone users. With its extensive range of features, BePTT aims to provide a comprehensive platform for users to connect, interact, and explore the world of PTT, a popular online forum in Taiwan.
The app allows users to browse PTT and PTT2 without the need to log in, making it convenient for casual visitors to explore the content. Users can also add and remove their favorite boards, browse popular boards, and search for boards based on different categories.
BePTT also offers a range of communication features, including a private mailbox for sending and replying to messages within the platform. Users can also publish, edit, and delete their own articles, as well as search for articles based on titles, authors, and number of likes.
The app supports various interactive features such as liking, disliking, and commenting on articles. It also has an auto-reply function to facilitate continuous engagement. Additionally, BePTT provides a search function for users to find and retrieve information about other users.
Other notable features of BePTT include support for both SSH and WebSocket connections, multiple account management, AES encryption for storing account information, water balloon messaging (in general mode only), ANSI mode, and a night mode for comfortable browsing in low light conditions.
Furthermore, users can share and bookmark articles, automatically open images and preview URLs, and keep track of their browsing history and liked articles. The app also allows users to upload images to imgur and generate shortened URLs using bit.ly.
Please note that while BePTT offers a wide range of features, it is still under development, and users are encouraged to report any encountered bugs or issues to the developer for further improvement.
